Kami Vickerman, DVM, CVA, ACVA

Dr. Vickerman was born and raised in Minnesota where she grew up on her family's small hobby farm and enjoyed trail riding and dressage. After completing veterinary school at the University of Minnesota in 2014, she was ready for warmer weather and moved to California for her internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital, where she ultimately became a permanent member of the team. Dr. Vickerman has additional training in animal chiropractic, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese medicine (including Chinese herbal therapy, Food therapy, and Tui-na) and equine postural rehabilitation. In addition to providing this holistic care, she truly finds joy in being a general practitioner and getting to know you and your animal companions. Her other professional interests include dentistry and ophthalmology. As well as providing all of these services to horses, she provides animal chiropractic, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and therapeutic laser services to dogs and cats! In her free time, Dr. Vickerman enjoys practicing Tai Chi, gardening, hiking, and traveling with her wife, Kashmir.
