Asto Equine Standing CT

Medical professional reviewing a medical scan of a leg and foot on a computer monitor.

At Pioneer, we use one of the most advanced computed tomography (CT) scanners, the Asto Equina Standing CT. With this unit we are able to do scans of the head, neck, and limbs up to the knee and hock STANDING! Standing CT’s can be done during a normal appointment time frame; however, if the patient needs to be anesthetized they will require a longer stay. Preliminary results of the CT are available immediately. Final results of the scan will be available after review by a surgeon or independent radiologist.
