Veterinarian:
Perform
a wide verity of both soft tissue and orthopedic surgical
procedures on horses. Provide clinical teaching of veterinary
interns. Perform lameness exams on horses and interpret digital
radiographs, ultrasounds, radio tomography, nuclear scintigraphy
and magnetic resonance imaging. Act as a reference source of
lameness and surgery questions for surrounding veterinarians
through telephone and radiographic consultations. Evaluate
horses for purchases and perform routine health care to include
vaccinations and dentistry. Participate as a speaker to educate
the general public and equestrian world on lameness, surgical
and health concerns of the equine population.
